Lord Jesus, this blog is dedicated to You and the Gospel of God. Oversee our work and govern its presentation. Above draw hearts to Thyself and Thy GREAT salvation. Thank You for loving us all, and giving me this opportunity to serve you. I love You. Ken
Dear friends, please see our latest highlights and coming attractions.
APRIL HIGHLIGHTS
In April, we continued building several key streams of reflection:
Fathers and Sons Series
Joseph and his sons
Zebedee and his sons
Now: God the Father and His Son (the theological center)
Poetry Tuesday: Paradise Lost
The War in Heaven
The unfolding consequences of rebellion
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Thessalonians → now moving into 1 Corinthians
Theophany Series (Ezekiel)
Visions of God’s glory
The calling of the prophet
Each of these, in its own way, is drawing us toward a clearer vision of who God is—and who we are in relation to Him.
WHAT’S COMING IN MAY
May will be one of our richest months yet.
1. New Series: “Mothers Who Mattered”
We begin a new journey exploring the lives of women whose faith, courage, and influence shaped history and Scripture.
These will not be sentimental portraits, but serious reflections on spiritual motherhood, influence, and legacy.
2. Fathers and Sons (Continuing)
After reaching the summit in the eternal Father–Son relationship, we will begin tracing how that reality:
shapes human identity
redeems broken relationships
calls us into deeper obedience and love
3. Poetry Tuesday: Paradise Lost (Continued)
We move further into:
The aftermath of the fall
The entrance of sin into the human story
The first hints of redemption
4. Sunday Morning Bible Study
Now entering 1 Corinthians 1–2:
Wisdom vs. worldly wisdom
The scandal and power of the cross
What it means to truly “know” God
5. Theophany Series (Ezekiel)
The vision deepens:
The glory of God revealed
The voice that commissions
The weight of being called
WHY THIS MATTERS
If April showed us anything, it is this:
We do not begin with ourselves.
We begin with God.
And more specifically, we begin with the Father and the Son—because it is only in knowing them that we come to understand:
love
authority
obedience
identity
and eternal life itself

Jesus Saves! Jesus Saves!
We have heard the joyful sound:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Spread the tidings all around:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Bear the news to every land,
climb the mountains, cross the waves;
Onward! ’tis our Lord’s command;
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Waft it on the rolling tide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Tell to sinners far and wide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Sing, you islands of the sea;
echo back, you ocean caves;
Earth shall keep her jubilee:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Sing above the battle strife:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
By His death and endless life
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Shout it brightly through the gloom,
when the heart for mercy craves;
Sing in triumph o’er the tomb:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Give the winds a mighty voice:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Let the nations now rejoice:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Shout salvation full and free;
highest hills and deepest caves;
This our song of victory:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
