James and John were brothers who began as fishermen and ended as pillars of the early Church. One gave his life as the first martyr among the apostles. The other lived to write profoundly about Jesus, love, truth, and eternal life. Together, they remind us that following Christ means leaving old ways behind, submitting our ambitions to His will, and allowing Him to transform our hearts.
